Quran Interpretation in English Reaches Fourth Printing in Egypt
The book, titled “Al-Muntakhab (The Select), has been compiled and translated by a group of Al-Azhar Islamic University scholars, according to Al-Watan news website.
Given the high demand for the work, Al-Muntakhab was published by the ministry and has now reached its fourth printing, it said.
The Awqaf ministry has put efforts into publishing translations of the Quran and its interpretations with the aim of promoting the Quranic culture and thought in different languages.
The ministry has so far published translations of the Holy Book in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Albanian, Indonesian, Swahili, Urdu and Greek so far.
